Philip Shipyard repaired many of the Brixham fishing boats and supported the annual trawler race by donating a prize of £250.

This prize certificate was created by making a montage of elements created for other marketing purposes.

This design reflects the diversity of current ship repair work in the yard and provides a link with its' proud history.

With an archive photograph as a background, the stamps show the company founder, a shrouded propeller, the Royal Navy training vessel Hindustan, and engine replacement on a high speed H.M.Customs cutter.

This certificate commemorates a memorable occasion when a school choir from King Edward VI Community College Totnes were among a thousand voices singing Faurés Requiem at the Royal Albert Hall London, with the English Festival Orchestra

It shows the school choir leader, Wendy Newman and the names of all the Kevicc singers.

I am proud to say my Downs Syndrome daughter Gabriella (15) was a member of the choir.
